The 1st Sinulog Idol Goes on Stage
Sinulog will celebrate its 30th year. This is something very special especially to the Cebuanos. Along with the Sinulog Festivities comes an array of activities that will truly celebrate this special occasion. One of these is the staging of the very first Sinulog Idol. This competition brings on stage the most promising Cebuano singers who will vie for the title “The 1st Sinulog Idol.
If you are a resident of Cebu for the past 6 months, at least 15 to 25 years old, who has the talent for singing, fame and a hefty sum of money for your prize awaits you. Entry forms are available at the Office of the Sinulog Foundation. Submit it together with a close-up photo (3R – 5R) on December 14 – 17, 2009. Only those that have submitted their entry forms and picture are qualified to join the audition. Auditions will be on December 18 and 19, 2009 (Friday and Saturday) to be held at the Cebu City Sports Complex.
The Sinulog Idol will be presented from January 8 – 14, 2010 ( 7 days) at the Sinulog Stage, Fuente Osmeña Circle at 7:45 in the evening. The Grand Finals is on January 14, 2010.
